I've been working on my LM comic/manga pages , made a hat, and am working on finalizing some camouflage designs for pre-production.
Also been playin' around with GIMP to supplement my Photoshopping. Eventually I will be without a Photoshop, so I need to know how to use the alternatives.
As well as developing my OCs and storylines, I'm problably going to come out with some fanart sometime.
And kind of on that note of things to do, why not take advantage of my chronological freedom to submit a request or commission? All slots open for the time being!

Okaaay, so Eclipse
Yeah, apparently Deviant Art "Eclipse" really is here to stay. Suffice to say it's clumsy, unintuitive garbage, while at the same time being as vapid and soulless as possible. So much for the quaint, quirky DA I think all of us were familiar with and sticking around for. I don't know if that's what the Deviant Art dev team was going for, but they sure seem pleased with themselves. Maybe I'm just getting old and crotchety (though I feel more knowledgeable on UI design than when first joining, but whatev), and maybe in a couple more years or something it will get better, or I'll just get used to all the bizarre hidden menus and work-arounds to use the site somewhat normally. But right now I can't hardly figure out how to easily check group notifications, perform admin duties, check on and respond to messages, etc. I kept giving as helpful and specific feedback as I could, and turning "Eclipse" back off over and over, until it was no longer an option. Now... here we are. Cheers, and
The Fruits of Other's Labor
I feel like I'm finally starting to make things that I can start to be proud of. Arguably due to no particular merit of my own, but that of extremely patient and supportive family, friends, and mentors.
Summer's starting, and I'm looking back, thankful.

Oh my. Well, here we are, right? Anyways.
I'm drawing so much now! Doing a lot of traditional art, actually, finally invested in some new shading techniques inspired in part by AssasinMonkey (https://www.deviantart.com/assasinmonkey), hopefully to help accelerate my progress, and mayyybe even smooth the divide between my traditional and digital art workflows. That combined with syncing my mobile photos to the cloud will make it easier to get photos of my work on here perhaps.
Um, kinda bummer news for my groups though... almost all of my art is done manually, at work. So no new digital camo and no guns. ^^; I am still designing and testing camo, but with little time for any fu
2016
It's the year 2016. The post-future. Mildly considering making fun things like a wrist computer (phone case) and cyberpunk clothes.
Been feeling different kinds of ways. Playing a lot of games and getting wrapped up with work. Family matters have been pretty heavy, and lots of life stuff is keeping me from the important things, like making fantasy camo and 3d modelling ponies and other arguably silly but personally fulfilling things.
Anyways, tried to catch up on correspondences and uploaded a new icon. Will change it up a bit as the new year accelerates, but right now it looks pretty much how I feel.

You should try inkscape for your stuff. Exact scaling, no aliased shapes, perfect for non-pixellated camo and scaling camo tiles.
